National Club Gymnastics Carnival was held at the Gold Coast in September with teams coming from all over Australia to compete.
On the first day, they were scored on all apparatuses with the team placing 10th out of the 14 teams.
On the second day, they were scored as a team on individual apparatuses. In addition to this competition, throughout the competition season, Hartley qualified for the Junior State Gymnastics Championships where he placed 5th on parallel bars.
He also qualified for the CQ regional team which competed during state champs. Combining with 2 other qld regions placing 3rd.

Hartley started gymnastics at an early age following in his older sister’s footsteps and progressed to the MAG Program achieving level 5 this year. Whilst excelling in Gymnastics Hartley has also made the Gladstone Basketball development squad and is inspired by his favourite player Steph Curry

Hartley’s next goal is to achieve Level 6 and continue to develop his basketball skills in parallel. The Gladstone and District Sports Foundation Trust is happy to support you with your sporting achievements and look forward to hearing about your future achievements.
