In January Elisha took part in the U18s Men’s National Championships in Blacktown NSW. Out of 6 pitchers for Queensland performed to become starting pitcher in the final. He also pitched against New South Wales (NSW) and Western Australia (WA), and played outfield
and short stop in 5 other games. From a team perspective, (team of 16 players), we qualified second after 2 round robins. This qualifies us for the semi-finals, and although we lost 1 versus 2 semifinal we came back through the repechage to beat Western Australia, the winner of 3 versus 4. Unfortunately, we lost to NSW in the last innings of regulation play, placing second.

It was a highlight for Elisha to play for the national title in the stadium built for the Sydney Olympics in 2000 with a crown of 1500 spectators, whilst he proudly represented Queensland with his team mates. |

From the tournament Elisha was selected in the Australian U18 squad and great achievement and an exciting opportunity to preform on an international stage.
Elisha is inspired by Jack Besgrove and his accomplishments and this encourages Elisha to continue to hone his skills to improve his batting and be recognised as an all rounder.
Gladstone & District Sports Foundation Trust is happy that we could support your journey and wishes the best for your tournament with the National Team.
